"Mommy, Baaah-ble"
Matthew and Kasey got Megan a gift for her Baptism called the Busy Bible. It's this great fabric book with all kinds of hands-on activities by which children can learn bible stories. You can unzip Jonah from the whale's mouth; you button Joseph's colorful coat; you can snap fish into the net; you can play with King Solomon's $50 bills (yes, King Solomon had Ulysses S. Grant on his money). Anna absolutely loves it and tries to pull it out of Megan's room to play with any chance she gets. She likes to ask for it by name and she will say "Mommy, Baaah-ble" while dragging out the first syllable. This is probably one of my favorite things to hear Anna say for two reasons-because she wants to play with the Bible (our good little Christian girl!) and also because we get to hear a sweet little Kentucky 'twang'. I tried to capture it on video but it's very soft so you need to know what you're listening for.

Glad she's enjoying it (Matthew picked it out). Is that Lot's wife she's putting in her mouth at the end? Maybe she tastes salty?
I love watching your two girls grow. Enjoy it, because it will go so fast.
