Autumn

That season between summer and winter...sometimes exists in northern Kentucky, sometimes gets lost. We were fortunate to have many warm, summer days (70 degrees) all the way up until last week which meant tons of opportunity to still be outside. That's good for us because a typical day at our house is: wake up, eat breakfast, leave the house to play outside and then return in time for nap somewhere between 1:00 and 2:00. When it's warm, you will find us outside whether at the zoo, a park or our yard. And now that it's starting to get cold, my rule is that we will be out there, even if for an hour, if it's 38 degrees or warmer. It's too much to be stuck indoors all day. So here is a photo recap from our day-to-day adventures over the last few months.

A trip to the zoo with our good friend Katie.

We love to play at the Cincinnati Nature Center!

Just relaxing for a ride around the neighborhood.
We got to have a live playdate with our friends Charlotte and Becky (and Grandma Susan) when they came home from Texas for a long weekend in September. Yay!

Eating one of our many picnic lunches at a park.

Enjoying the deck and the pond with daddy.
